Each day of The Crossroads Blog Tour, a new research question will be revealed on The Crossroad Blog Tour main page: http://judithgraves.com/ events/the-crossroads-tour/ crossroads-2011/ and
each day the answer to that question will be found within one of the
different blog posts by Crossroads Tour authors. Your job is to get the
question, read the blog posts, and collect all answers by the end of
the tour, on Halloween.
Answers are to be emailed to bridgesocialmedia@gmail.com by October 31st at MIDNIGHT. Winner of the grand prize will be announced on November 1st, the DAY OF THE DEAD.

Tori: What’s your heroine’s favorite saying?
Joy: “Destiny can suck it.” (You haven’t heard her say this yet. But I think that’s her general opinion!)
Tori: What’s her favorite song?
Joy: Although music does not play a significant role in the Dreaming Anastasia series, I think if I asked Anne, she’d say that one song that has meaning for her is a country song: I Hope you Dance, by Lee Ann Womack.
Tori: What is your favorite book?
Joy: I love reading and books so much that it’s hard for me to pick just one. But if forced, I would have to pick Madeline L’Engel’s A Wrinkle in Time, which was the first fantasy book that I totally fell in love with when I was about eight or nine. I think my interest in genre fiction does stem from that book!
Tori: What inspired you to write your current series?
Joy: I’d been fascinated by the tragic Romanov story and Russian history in general. I loved fantasy and kick butt girl protagonists. And I was ( and still am) a total fan girl of Joss Whedon who was not afraid to meld genres (Firefly is a space western) or to combine comedy, romance, horror and teen angst all in one story (BTVS). The combination of all of that influenced me greatly.
