For the past year, I have been struggling with both my new passion in nutrition and with attempts to rekindle my old passion in book reviewing. I still love these books and genres, but after three years, reading transformed from a hobby to a job that stressed me out. It didn't help that the community changed and I fell out of the loop.

I will still maintain my twitter account. If you want to chat with me, or if you want to talk books (because let's face it, I'll never STOP reading!), then feel free to follow me on there if you haven't already. Let's tweet!

Updates (3)

Hi guys, just wanted to check in and let you know that Book Faery's not dead.  Finishing up midterms tomorrow, and then I'll be back to posting a lot more.

Until then, I thought I'd leave you all with a hilarious chat log my friend sent me.  I never knew this, but basically there's this guy who goes around these cyber sex chat rooms and totally starts messing with the other participants.  Guaranteed to make you at least smirk!  As for me?  I was crying in laughter hehe


And on that note, I will leave you all to go back to preparing my speeches for class tomorrow.


Here's what's in store for this week:
  • Review of The Iron King
  • Review of If You Dare
I've also got a couple of new features I'll be adding to Book Faery that I'm really excited about!
  • Monthly: I will be compiling a list of new and upcoming releases.  This list is definitely not complete, so if I'm missing authors you enjoy, leave a comment when I post it and I'll add them to the list!
  • Weekly: After talking to Rachel over at Bitten by Books, I've decided to do a weekly roundup of paranormal events.  If you've got a weird happening that you want to see posted, send me an email over at xlilangeltorix[at]gmail[dot]com and I'll be sure to mention you in the post!
