This week was.... yep, BEA week! I have lots of pictures from Javits. In fact, you can see Part I here. Part II should be up within the next few days. Going to push back any books I received (ie: bought) to next week's IMM so I can show off all the super awesome books I got during this exciting week!
I'd also like to announce that I did a vlog of IMM this week. I usually won't do this, but a few people were asking me to post a vlog over taking a bunch of pictures. Please ignore my frazzled look, when I started recording this, I was still in the process of waking up (STILL didn't have my coffee today yet... argh). Also, apparently YouTube videos can only be 10 minutes in length. Mine's umm a bit longer due to all the books, so I don't know how the quality's going to be with this Blogger/Google video thing. If it sucks, I'm sorry!
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy! I've included a list of the books I got under the video just in case I was either talking too fast, too quietly, mumbling, or because the quality of the video is completely horrible. Because I do that when I'm still in the process of waking up.

Apparently, in case you all didn't notice, I'm looking forward to a lot of books. And, I lied, it wasn't really quick. Sorry!

So what did you all get this week? Are there any books in this pile that you have been dying to read?
Inconceivably: Paranormalcy!!! Man I'm jealous, even of the ebook :) can't wait to see your review for that one.
ReplyDeleteTori: Yes, I can't wait to dig into that book! Just reading a couple of this month's releases first since I wouldn't be posting the Paranormalcy review until the month it's released.
ReplyDeleteChioma: Great vlog!!! I don't know which I am more jealous of...all the authors you got to meet or all the books you got. A dead tie I woud think. And BEAUTIFUL DARKNESS!!!OMG, you are so lucky, it looks so awesome!!! Enjoy all you new books (whether you're reading or just gazing at the pretty covers lol)!!!
ReplyDeleteTori: Thank you! Almost missed Beautiful Darkness. Didn't hear about it until last minute on Thursday. I also think I'll be doing a combination of the two :D
ReplyDeleteAmy S: Ummm...WOW! Have fun with all that reading! I can't wait to get my hands on most of those books...alas I must wait until they are released! ;)
ReplyDeleteTori: Oh I already am :) Just finished Raised by Wolves yesterday ;)
ReplyDeleteDazzling Mage: *dreamy sigh* Awesome books. Thank you for making a 20 minutes vlog, and showcasing all the books. That was lovely!
ReplyDeleteTori: Glad you liked it, totally wasn't intending for it to be 20 minutes lol!
ReplyDeleteDarklyReading: My shoulders still hurt from BEA too! I'm not sure what to do to showcase the books I got at BEA! So many books.. I had to retire some books from my bookshelves so I could get all my BEA books on there..I already made it through one of the books I got at BEA though..yeah..only 70 more to go ;)
ReplyDeleteTori: Yeah I went with my mom Friday to get her nails done and the guy there gave me a quick massage. It hurt and felt so good at the same time LOL
ReplyDeleteI finished Raised by Wolves last night! Movin on to Firelight teehee.
I'm so extremely jealous! I can't wait for next year when I will be finally able to go! I'm going with Lori (Pure Imagination) and Candace (Candace's Book Blog). It seems like you had so much fun! And you definitely got an amazing haul of books!
ReplyDeleteLots of great things you got! I'm loving all these BEA posts even though they're making me jealous lol. Oh well, more motivation to show up to next years!
