I’m Bringing Sexy Back
By Giguhl the Demon
It’s so sweet of Tori to humor the other sidekicks. Charitable, even. We all know that when it comes to sexy, no one beats a demon.
My name is Giguhl. I’m the minion of Sabina Kane*, whose life story is being transcribed by that hot bitch Jaye Wells**. (http://www.jayewells.com) But, I’m not your average demon minion. I’m a fifth level Mischief demon from the Gizal region of Irkalla, near the Pit of Despair. In addition to being Sabina’s BFF, I’m also the champion of Demon Fight Club, coach for the Manhattan Mauraders dark races roller derby team, a collector of home shopping channel merchandise, and an adult film connoisseur. I’m a friend, a fighter, but mostly, my doves, I am a lover.
In short, I’m a demon of complexity with many erotic layers. Like a sexy, sexy onion.
I’m also seven-feet of green-scaled sexiness with girthy black horns, seductive goat-slit eyes and manly hooves. When I’m not rocking my super hot demon form, I hang around in a sexy cat body. You haven’t lived until you’ve stroked the warm, velvety body of a hairless cat. Look at that picture. See how I smolder for you?
Okay, enough of this humility. It’s time to get to the real shit. Not to be indelicate, but there’s a reason or the saying, “Once you go demon, you’ll never go back.”
That reason is called “The Pitchfork.”
Want to know more about it? You’re gonna have to read the books. I’m too much of a gentleman to brag about my, um, little demon. Except it to say, there ain’t nothing little about it.
See there? Now you’ve made me brag. I feel dirty now. If you feel dirty too and you like it, be sure to follow me on Twitter. (www.twitter.com/giguhl)
**Jaye Wells forced me to add that she takes no responsibility for the opinions expressed in this post. She’s so judgy. But she also asked me to tell you her next book, SILVER-TONGUED DEVIL comes out in January.

I already have this book, so I do not want to take away another person's chance to read it. Just wanted to stop by and say that Jaye Wells is awesome. Her books are great and if you haven't read about Giguhl then you need to immediately!
ReplyDeleteThis post is just a brief reason of why I love reading her books - sexy sarcasm.
Great post and thanks Tori for spreading the love for sidekicks.

Giguhl, great to see you again. I'll never forget that weekend we spent in Austin, TX with that Succubus and her sister. Who knew that your pick-up line "I bet sucking a bus isn't the only thing you can do," would work on her? Call me next time you're in town.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway. the book sounds interesting.

I haven't yet read this series, but it sounds like I should! Thanks for the giveaway. (Email in profile.)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this series (and Jaye Wells!). I only wish the series were in hardback because she is truly worthy. If Giguhl hasn't already convinced you, maybe the first line of the novel will: "Digging graves is hell on a manicure..." How can you not fall in love with a line like that???? Forget winning the book. Go buy it!
ReplyDeleteWould love to read this! This would be a new urban fantasy series for me.

Hands off, ladies. I'm claiming dibs on the pitchfork -- er, the demon. He's all mine, MINE, MINE!!!
ReplyDeleteIs the book signed? If so, I'd love to enter the contest. If not, I've already read the novel; please give someone else the chance to do the same.

Oh. My. God. Thanks for the fab interview, Giguhl! You rock!\m/ I would love, love, LOVE this. You have no idea. I'm Sabina and Giguhl's biggest fan. Sabine is THE most kick-ass girl vampire. That's the reason I love this series so much (aside from the fantastic writing and page-turning action, the best sidekick ever) is because the heroine is a female vampire in a genre dominated by guy vamps. Thanks for this series, Jaye. I've been enjoying it so much.
